ManDevian!! Yes that's what we proudly call ourselves. It's been just a month in here and it already feels like that we have been a part of this for like forever. Thanks to all the “Icebreaker” activities conducted by the teachers and seniors. Starting with the outbound during the induction week to break the hesitation and start talking to your batch mates to SelI your senior task to know them and initiate a conversation with them and to the ongoing KOK i.e. Kings of Kings, the inter-class sports war, in which as classmates and as batchmates we know each other better, we got to know how talented our batchmates are. Uniting as a class, we formed a special bond between us and most importantly we are more comfortable with each other. Playing for our class, Cheering other classmates during their match, helping them with refreshments, Celebrating wins and losses and running with them in the ManDevian Miles were some of the best experiences I had till now. I am having the best time of my life though it's really hectic but that's what we are here for. Coming from a completely different background, most of the things I find here are new as well as challenging to me but each day here is a new opportunity to grab, explore and learn and groom your personality, be it inside the classroom or outside. It's up to you how efficiently you make the best use of. Aditya Birla Group: Aditya Birla group, being a conglomerate of so many companies, provides you with several opportunities to learn and grow. The positive work culture across the Aditya Birla group is what it is known for. It focuses a lot on training and development of employees and give them freedom to work as per the requirement. The company’s CSR initiatives fascinate me the most as they are somewhere related to activities that I have been involved in for the past one year. I would love to work for Ultratech Cement limited because being an HR manager I will get to engage with a diverse workforce from different countries as employed by the organisation and at the plant HR level I would get plenty of opportunities to learn about the people management from the grass root level which will enhance my skill set as well as my ability to deal with people from different backgrounds and culture to be an effective Human Resource Manager.
