Profit has been and will always be the first priority of every business, but the impact you create as an  business to customer business is the only thing which the public remembers. Aditya Birla Group has been the leaders in creating impacts on people and changing their lives for the greater good. Staying away from home is part of almost every student’s life. With Vodafone Idea- making expressions easier, the population of India stays connected with their loved ones. The quality of service provided this Aditya Birla Group and Vodafone group has been consistently good. It being the India’s leading telecom provider is the reason for the parents to connect with their children, when they are far away in different states or may be overseas.  The service provider, then known as Hutch has been providing services in India since the late 1990’s. Their tagline “wherever you go, we follow” always gave a message that we have a pan India reach. The company has just revealed its new tagline “The future is exciting. Ready?”. The tagline hints about the new innovations Vodafone is doing, same as the other ABG businesses. There are multiple telecom service providers, but the brains of ABG leaders in providing services of multinational standards in such affordable prices is amazing. Families living in rural areas had no connection with the urban world, they lived as if they were not part of this growing economy. But thanks to affordable 4G services provided by ABG and Vodafone, they are now much aware about the things happening in urban areas. Personally speaking, my father now understands better why do I think in the way I do. He has been exploring the Indian youth today and has been more supportive since. Being a student myself, I’ll not feel the impact of any other businesses of ABG as this telecom service they are providing. I’ll only remember how Vodafone was there for me when parents were not so close, when I got lonely and friends were not around. Telecom service has always made it easier for me to connect with people I want to. The only question which comes to my mind these days is “what next ?”. Being an MBA student, I need to be clear on my career goals. Will I be working with a start-up or a big conglomerate like Aditya Birla Group? And if I have to go for a Conglomerate, then which one will it be. Which brand name will I want to be associated with. My recruiter once said that corporate environment will test you morals and values every day. She advised that I should be clear on what I want to do with my life, because people change as soon as they step into the glamour of corporate. Opting for an MBA was not tough but what next? In such situation you think about your values and morals. What impact you want to create in this world? What you want to give back to the society and how? These questions then help me to be clear on which company should I join. Businesses like ABG is one of the names that came to my mind. Being a Indian multinational conglomerate, it has created an impact on the Indian society through its multiple products and has also made India proud overseas. Birla’s are one of the oldest and most successful business families of India. This is the age where I would want to be in such a company which has changed so many lives across the world, directly or indirectly. I would also like to give back to the society and help many others like me, who come from small cities with big dreams.
