I am from a small-town Ranchi. My family is not from a very educational background. But my parents very well knew the importance of education and they have always encouraged me to do the same. This thing always motivated me to work harder for my goals. There are not many good engineering colleges in Ranchi so after my secondary education I had to leave my hometown to pursue my higher education. It was difficult to live at my own at a faraway place in the beginning. But eventually I learned to live on my own and I performed well in my graduation. This helped and influenced a lot of girls back in my hometown. And after that many girls came to pursue higher education out of Ranchi.
After completing my graduation from Jabalpur I got an offer from Infosys as a systems engineer. But I wanted to pursue higher education, for that either I had to drop the company for preparation or should give up on my dream and take the job. I attempted CAT when I was in my last year of my college but I could not perform well and I had no option but to take up the job. But my urge to do higher education was still there.
I thought of preparing while in the job. My job included a rigorous 5 months training. We had many tests also during that time. It was very difficult to perform well in those training exams and also prepare for CAT. Also, I was again in a new place for my job and this time I had to live on my own without any help. It was quite difficult to manage both my personal and professional life, but my urge to pursue higher education always kept me motivating to study. Lastly, I appeared for CAT and I scored well. I got admitted to a reputed college.
