Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?

Since its inception in 1857 which was the same year when the first struggle for independence started, it binds with us the immense feeling of patriotism. I was surprised by the fact that its products surround us and come in handy whenever we require them. The aluminium foil which my mother used to wrap food in my tiffin box to keep it fresh, those smell of fresh Aloo Parathas even after a few hours of packaging was enough to assure me that my dish was still mouth watering. It made those luxurious brands like ‘Allen Solly’, ‘Van Huesen’, ‘Peter England’ and ‘Louis Philippe’ accessible to middle class people like us from retailers such as Pantaloons retail chain. Hindalco and Ultratech Cement are those industrial subsidiaries whose products protect us such as aluminium frames for Unibody automobile manufacturing and cement for the purpose of constructions. Construction of house is the penultimate dream of any Indian family and the trust of Ultratech just binds us with the assurance of a safe and strong home devoid of any failure. Idea network then its merger with Vodafone, the inception and conceptualisation of the idea of ‘Zoo-Zoo’ for their advertisement campaign just flooded our television sets during world cup matches. The content of their advertisement was creative enough to make us dance to the ‘Zoo-Zoo’ tune. Being employed in an aluminium smelting industry just after my graduation, Hindalco was my dream company to work with. Aditya Birla Group is rated as one of the best employer and the opportunities it provides to its employees in terms of innovation, corporate social responsibilities, and sustainable projects are beyond any adjective to describe.

How have I overcome challenges to achieve my ambitions so far?

Life is not easy as it seems and I had realised it the hard way. Being a smart kid I never worked hard in my school days unaware of the fact that I was just another frog in the well and there will be many frogs competing for the best schools for graduation. To become a scientist was always my dream because of my inquisitive nature, joining IIT was my aim which I never came to realise. My efforts were short of hard work and pure dedication and I was under the misconception that everything is alright. But still after pursuing my engineering from a non IIT/NIT college, my hard work landed me into a decent job in the core engineering sector, but the spark to acquire knowledge was still intact within me but the hectic schedule of my job, shifts operations of my job profile the quest to pursue higher studies was seemingly difficult. But this time I was equipped with the importance of hard work and I broke those barriers and landed myself into an esteemed B School. I searched for every nook and cranny to find time for preparation. Took leaves, got rid of redundant activities from my schedule to save time and dedicate it for the preparation. Now my life seems to have a direction even though I don’t know what lies ahead but I am quite sure that my quest for knowledge will not go in vain. I must work towards my dream, conquer my fear and also complete my bucket list which I have been drafting since my childhood.
