The group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. It all started with the cotton trading which is now having its stronghold in various industries such as viscose staple fiber, metals, cement, viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. The group not only focuses on its business growth but also promotes social development through programs such as skill training, mid-day meals, operating schools, running medical camps etc. The group carries out its welfare driven activities in 5000 villages, reaching out to 7.5 million people annually. The impact of Aditya Birla group in my life is significant. Unofficially it is the trendsetter in the fashion industry. The brands such as Louis Philippe, Peter England, Van Heusen etc, every time comes up with the fresh collection which has its own way of expressing. What makes a person confident is not only the knowledge he has but also the way he carries himself in which the sense of dressing is an important element and this is the part where I feel that Birla group has made an impact in my life. The kind of collection they have is sufficient enough to satisfy your apparel needs for every season, festival, event etc, and the quality which differentiates them from other brands is the novelty which rejuvenates me and provides me with a sense of distinctiveness.
During my school life, I was taking everything lightly I never tried to look at what could be the impact of this on my future. When I came to pursue my bachelor degree away from my home then I realized that I had done nothing till now and showed me where I stand and that changed my way of thinking. I realized the importance of self-assessment in life. The importance of assessing where you stand in the crowd that makes you decide the way you want your life should be. Challenges are part of everyone's life. I feel that the way one overcomes them makes them different. I have always focused on one single aspect and that is to analyze things cautiously because it's not always about hard work sometimes just a change in perspective of analyzing problems can provide you with the solution. Patience and persistence are the two key factors which can help in overcoming every challenge, no matter how complex it is. What I learnt about challenges is instead of being nervous about them just try to analyze them properly because most of the times you know the solution but due to lack of focus and understanding you rely on others to solve them rather than having confidence in your own abilities. I have experienced this and observed the same in my friends. So, its all about the inner strength which helps you to overcome challenges and succeed in life.
