I personally encountered with various products of Aditya Birla Group in my life. Recently, my family has embarked on constructing our dream house and choosing the right cement for the house is always a major decision to take. But frankly, my dad didn’t take more than a minute to choose Ultratech cement for the construction. That shows the trust the brand of Aditya Birla Group has created in our lives.
I visited Pantaloons store on many occasions and it served my purpose very well. I personally wear business formals quite often and wear shirts of Peter England, Van Heusen and Louis Phillipe brands of ABG group.
I was personally moved by the telecom division of ABG group- Idea cellular. The company was creating awareness about how the usage of internet can help in your day to day lives and I believe the ads ran by this company has truly touched millions of Indians. ABG group has also established many Birla temples in India and I had the opportunity to visit one of them in Hyderabad.
Challenges :
I was adamant to understand the popular saying which goes by “Failures are the stepping stones for Success”. But as I grew older and went to my under-graduation college, I experienced my biggest failure till then by failing one of the semester exams. I was very disturbed with the result as it was my first experience of failing in any exam written in my entire life. I didn’t know how to tell my parents about the result and with immense courage, I told my father about the result and I was shocked to the response from my father. He just said and I quote “You are a grown-up kid; you know your responsibilities and you know whatever you do in life has consequences be it good or bad. So, act accordingly and know one thing whatever happens I’m always here for you.” I didn’t expect this response from my father but that incident changed my entire perception of how I used to think about failures as a setback. I not only studied hard and cleared the exam scored but also secured well in rest of the semesters and secured campus placement.
So, I believe, one should treat failures as positive experiences and deal with it accordingly as you will learn more in your failure than what you could have learnt from your success.
