Aditya Birla group, A name that everyone can relay upon in whatever the field they are in or from. ABG have always been there providing excellent support and products at every stage of life, be it making a home or need of financial support or well-tailored clothing or connecting people across nation through network, you name it and they’ve got it. ABG is there before the independence and have there been in boosting nation from scratch to building economy to fulfilling the modern needs and demands with their services and representing the nation at world stage. I feel an immense pleasure in admitting that the ABG is an Indian Group and it has surely uplifted every Indian with its consistent and ever-lasting excellence. The wide range of clothing line comprising of brand names such as Peter England, Louis Philippe and Van Heusen have become my first choice to buy formal or casual clothes. Being an textile engineer ever since I got know the about these companies belong to ABG an Indian brand my admiration and respect for it is touching skies. Moreover, the cherry on top of cake is the CSR activities the ABG is doing that includes working in 5000 villages and directly improving the lives of 7.5 million people by the means of medical camps, schools, electricity, skill training are not only helping the people but also making them self-sustainable.
And it is just the tip of the iceberg I mentioned here it’s not just about apparels, not just about financial assistance, Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest conglomerate which is touching lives and expanding social capital. Hence it justifies its tagline- Taking India to the World.
how you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
The latest challenge I faced in my life is during the preparation of CAT exam. As I was working in National Textile corporation as a Management trainee in Finlay Mills, Achalpur, Maharashtra. My job profile was Shop-floor manager where my task was to manage workers to get the maximum possible production and rectifying any plausible problems occurring for the smooth working of the department. The mill works round the clock i.e. 24/7 and I had to work in rotating shifts every now and then. Meanwhile I was aspiring for CAT-2018 exam and I was new at that place so balancing the work and life was very challenging. Moreover, the shift lasts for 10-11 hours and managing a spinning plant is tiresome and causes fatigue at the same time. The area I was posted in was a rural area and not much developed and no coaching institute was around to have classes or to avail first-hand guidance so I had to prepare on my own. but after all the hurdles and tiresome efforts I managed to get decent percentile and fortunately ended up in IIM Raipur. As my father always stated Hard work and efforts pay off and in my case they did and that too rewarding.
