I am a student of DMS IIT ISM and I chose my college with great thought. Hence, I would like to specifically talk about my institute and the perks of studying here.
Techno-managerial environment: IITs’ are known to be the powerhouses of innovation in technology in India. Studying here can be fruitful for those looking to specialize in operations research, industrial management, or information systems. DMS went a step further and introduced an MBA in business analytics, a one of its kind in India.
Cost of Education: An MBA can be a costly affair costing over 20 lakhs in many Indian B Schools. DMS charges a fee of around 4-lakhs for 2-years. This fee is very advantageous as there is no need to take loans and one can still get an amazing Return on Investment.
Evolution of mindset: An MBA is more than about learning how to make a profit. There is a lot of research involved in studying the consumers and in optimizing the manufacturing process. DMS inculcates research- oriented thinking with courses like Business Research Methods, Business Statistics, Analytics, etc.
Batch size: A small batch in a class offers several advantages. You can get to know everyone well, better faculty-to-student ratio, and lesser competition for placements. In this aspect, DMS encourages small batches with effective learning and has an intake of just 62 students per batch for MBA and 30 for MBA Business Analytics.
Higher education: For those students who plan to study further for a Ph.D. or who plan to crack any government exam like UGC-NET, DMS would provide an ideal learning environment as the subjects are taught well and as the professors and seniors are approachable.
