XFin-The Finance Association of XIMB is not your typical team of grouchy and dull finance people. We are quite the opposite. Money making might be a serious business, but hey, those who do make it needn’t be serious, right? Take our cross-institute online stock market simulation game – Trade Wars. We have Machete, Wakanda warriors, Anari Khiladis and Yoddhas in the leaderboard. Nope, these aren’t the names of blockbuster Hollywood and Bollywood movies, but the names of the teams who are participating this year in Trade Wars. And the quirkiness in the team names is but the tip of the iceberg. We have had participants from marquee management institutes across India like the IIMs, JBIMS, IIFT, NITIE, NMIMS, SIMSR, IMI, Great Lakes and the list goes on. All of them have come and experienced the fun side of making money. The final “showdown” of the trade wars is conducted amidst the Xpressions festivities and we would scarcely be the ones who do not keep up with that spirit.
