The legacy of XIMB and the prestige of the TEDx stage is coming back together on 25th July 2021. Owing to the pandemic, the event is scheduled to occur virtually, but XIMB is all set to unravel ideas worth spreading even through an online mode.
The theme for this year’s event is Prism of Perceptions. When an idea is looked at through the lens of the psyche, it splits into various perceptions. TEDxXIMB 7.0 will host speakers from varied geographies and disciplines that will look upon seven distinct ideas through different perspectives.
The first speaker to take the stage is Mr. Anwesh Sahoo. Mr. Sahoo is a Spotlight NFT Artist with WazirX and the youngest winner of Mr. Gay World India. He has featured in Vogue, Rolling Stones, and Lifestyle Asia as a breakthrough queer artist.
The second speaker is Ms. Anupria Goenka. She is a versatile actress who has starred in multilingual movies and series. Some of her big hits include Tiger Zinda Hai, Padmavat, War, and Sacred Games.
The next speaker in line is Mr. Achitra Borgohain, Founder and CEO of Binbag. Mr. Borgohain works on the mission of empowering the recycling community and helps them become profitable.
Ms. Nupur Pai will deliver her talk next. She is a former ad-world writer turned comedy writer turned screenwriter. Mr. Pai is one of the minds behind the viral, internet-breaking Cred ads and is the screenwriter of Netflix’s Little things.
The next speaker to share his story through the stage of TEDxXIMB 7.0 is Mr. Shams Aalam. He is an international gold medalist in Para-Swimming. Mr. Aalam has featured twice in the Limca Book of World Records and represented India at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Indonesia.
Ms. Debasree Banerjee, a renowned beauty influencer and the founder of #debasreee, will be the next speaker at the event. She is one of the first few creators to change the Indian digital and beauty space rules with her passion for beauty and everything under its sun.
The final speaker for TEDxXIMB 2021 will be Prof. Moran Cerf. Cerf is a Neuroscientist and an Associate Professor of Business and has received numerous awards, including the Chicagoan award and the Carnegie award.
