XLRI- Xavier School of Management, India's No. 1 Private B School, will be hosting ‘GNOSIS 2016’ – its Annual Finance Symposium. The 7th edition of the symposium will be held in Mumbai on 5th November, 2016 at The Westin, Mumbai.
The symposium will bring together industry stalwarts, policy makers, regulators and entrepreneurs to discuss their views on issues that are the next big catalysts in the financial landscape of India. The symposium is organized by the Finance Association at XLRI (FINAX).
Keeping in mind the fast paced environment and disruption in the financial domain by new age finance companies, the theme for GNOSIS 2016 is
“Changing Landscape of Banking & Financial Services."
The keynote address for the conference will be delivered by Mr PS Jayakumar - MD & CEO, Bank of Baroda. The conference also includes two panel discussions on “Asset Quality challenges and Impact of technology in banking’’ and ‘’Fintech: Disruption in the Industry’’ featuring industry leaders like Mr Ananth Venkat - MD & Regional Head, Standard Chartered; Mr Ajay Mahajan- Group Executive President, IDFC Bank Limited; and Special Guest Sessions by Mr AP Hota - MD & CEO, National Payments Corporation of India; Mr Samit Ghosh – Founder & CEO, Ujjivan Financial Services amongst other distinguished guests.
Celebrating its 25
th year, FINAX is also hosting the
GNOSIS Excellence Awards this year as part of the symposium which will recognize industry stalwarts in the banking and financial services domain who have done exceedingly well, for their contributions which have truly impacted the sector.
