Aditya Birla group has been a part of my life since a very long time. One of its major subsidiaries, Vodafone and I have been a customer since my school days. Vodafone had been consistent in providing service is every part of the world. I still remember my trip to Shimla, were my entire families mobile network was out of reach and hopefully Vodafone was the savior there. I had been with Vodafone though there were a large amount of customer movement due to Jio entry into the market still Vodafone was able to satisfy the needs of its customer base and they have been constantly innovating.
I would also like to mention the largest supermarket chain of ABG the “MORE” which had recently acquired by Samara Capital-Amazon had been the best part of my entire life has it had changed the entire methodology of grocery shopping experience of citizens and was the first of its kind to provide customers with membership cards and several benefits. It has been the pioneer of supermarkets since then. They had been relentlessly involved in improving the customer experience by identifying the market gaps and delivering them to the customers as per the market trends.
What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger…
After my higher secondary education, I secured my college admission through government counseling by which I had chosen Mechanical Engineering due to my personal interest. I had the interest in automation so I had myself participated in various RC car competitions. Since the world had started moving towards automation I wanted to explore the field of Information Technology, because I felt that my knowledge of engineering would contribute more in that field if I get a chance to portray myself.
The most significant challenge that I faced is when I chose to work with Infosys after completing my graduation. We were subjected to rigorous training in the field of automation. I was new to programming languages which were an entirely different platform. I need to clear the basic training as it was mandatory and I would not qualify for the job if I fail to clear the same.
Since I was new to codes I had to struggle a lot but I was determined to cross the hurdle. I had to take extra efforts compared to other trainees. I practiced severely and planned separate strategies which helped me to clear my exams as one among the Top performers in my batch. From this experience, I learned that nothing is difficult unless we plan and execute it smartly. Due to my performance in my training, I was given my preferred work location along with several incentives which got me under the lights of several new projects which were under demand, ultimately opened venues to explore my knowledge and capability
