Good clothes have always made me happy. Shopping is my stress buster and mode of celebration. A girl’s wardrobe is happy when it has a variety of clothes and all of different fashion. What makes it best is when these clothes come at a discounted rate or at an impressive cost.
Be it ‘Pantaloons’ or ‘People’, or ‘Allen Solly’, Aditya Birla Group has always satisfied its customers with a wide range of clothes and that too at a jaw-dropping price. Personally, I love Allen Solly shirts and trousers. They understand Indian body shape so well and all the customer requirements and demands. For casual wear, my choice is always clothes from ‘People’.
I would love to work for Allen Solly, the one-stop solution for formal clothes for everyone and especially women of today who are so talented and confident of who they are. How did I overcome my challenges to achieve my goal?
My biggest challenge in life was being a better version of myself. I am a great believer in “Health is Wealth” and I had ignored my health in my early twenties. It is natural for any young adult to not pay attention towards their health at that age and be carefree and I was no different- late nights, parties, junk food, skipping breakfast and then eating a lot during lunchtime, etc. All of these activities gradually started affecting my wellbeing. I was gaining weight and became cranky and other symptoms were hair fall and acne.
I am thankful to my parents who opened my eyes and discussed that simply buying expensive anti-hair fall shampoos and cosmetics which promise to make your skin acne proof was not going to help because the problem was deep-rooted. Then I took up the challenge to bring a healthy change to my lifestyle.
I realized the core problem lied in late nights. I changed my bedtime from 3 am in the morning to 11 pm in the night and it changed my life. Initially, it was difficult, so I started reading books before going to bed to make myself asleep and followed a no gadget policy after 10 pm every night. This helped me to get up next morning by 7 and I had time for exercise, breakfast and a peaceful day. I was less cranky, more patient with people and I can feel the change. I am happy about myself. I did not switch to boiled tasteless food to reduce my weight. I just switched to simple home-made food and avoid gluten and junk food as much as I could.
It has been a year since I am following this and now it has become a way of living for me. I continue to do this till date and I still believe I have a long way to go. On a professional front, yes, I have gained results. I am able to think better, take rational decisions and now that I am studying in a management college, I am able to retain more concepts in my head for my PGDM exams, projects, and assignment.
