Another example is, we had decided to target a particular event but it was not distributed evenly throughout the year, but in pricing, we had not considered it. It happened so because we had divided work amongst ourselves and decided that we will do our part and compile. It was a very disappointing moment for us, but this questioning taught me some of the best things which helped me in the future, and my whole group and I never repeated those silly mistakes.

So, It was the learnings from this presentation which made it memorable for me. First, a division of work is essential, but it is more important to understand the linkages between the two persons’ work so that there is a proper flow. Second, always at least once rehearse the presentation within the group so that it becomes perfect and any problems can be identified at that time. Third, presentation preparation also includes the preparing for the questions which will follow after it which may go beyond the topic or scope of presentation. These lessons still guide me every time I am preparing or presenting.

By working here, I will get exposure to multiple businesses and various products. I will understand the relationships/systems/processes between technology, business, employees and customers which results in better solutions. I will learn the nitty-gritty of product development and gain the insights about the critical factor for a firm where and how much it invests in R&D.
