Lastly let us tap onto the most important sector that is shelter. Ultratech cement is the leader in that sector. We have this group by our side wherever we go. Their presence is felt everywhere from “Pantaloons” to “Hindalco”. They are part of our lives and will remain so.

Today, when I am sitting down to write this article on the hurdles I have faced, I reflect upon the past one and a half years of my life. My thoughts take me back to the red light of the traffic signal in Saltlake Sector 5 in Kolkata which I patiently observed and said a small prayer in my mind for it to turn green. “Please God! Let it turn green.” I murmured.
Well this was the time when I was toggling between my job and my CAT preparation. My job demanded that I stretched back to wee hours at night as I was serving a United Kingdom based client and similarly my books seemed to call me from home. It has been a heck of a journey. I was also travelling 60 km daily to reach my office. By the time I returned home I could only feel my bed inviting me to lie down. I was unable to think beyond the tiredness I felt. There were times I did not want to do anything. I was under pressure. I had a lot of aspirations but I was unable to see beyond the gloominess.
But the question is that did I give up? The answer is no, I didn’t. This situation only taught me to be stronger. I became a better time manager. I taught myself to make use of whatever little time I got. I read newspapers while travelling. I used those hours to work on my grammar and general knowledge. As my work hours started in the afternoon I studied in the morning. I left little work for night. Most of the time I spent the few minutes that I could manage for myself in reading books and listening to music.
I came out from my hurdles victorious by taking it all in my stride.
