My Ambitions and Challenges

Challenges are something experienced by each one of us but we all don’t necessarily face the same set of them. These challenges introduce us to our character; they test our patience and try to bring in the right attitude within us. If we tackle the challenges of life we win, if not, we learn but we never ‘FAIL’.

Something similar happened with me last year, when I decided to go for higher education. As my interest was towards management, I decided to take CAT exam. But I realized this in August and the exam was in November. So, the main challenge was to make out time from the busy IT job and prepare for the exam in stipulated time. As I was working on live project which demanded 10-12hrs of work, it was quite hectic to cope up with the preparations but one thing that kept me going was the determination to achieve my dream.

I started following a disciplined life from then, because discipline is the only tool which forges success. Throughout the preparation period I faced many ups and downs where at a certain point it was difficult to manage work and studies. But, my self-belief and strong urge to succeed backed me up every time. And finally, the struggle bore fruits and here I am at one of the top B-Schools of India i.e. IIM-Nagpur. The journey was tough but the result squared it all. So, one must keep on following dreams and never lose hope, because “Victories are achieved by those who believe in winning”.
