PART 2

I was working in my office when I received a call from my hometown neighbour on my desk phone as mobile phones were not allowed inside. The call was about my mother getting hurt after falling from the stairs. I called my father several times but he didn't pickup.

I received a call from my brother enquiring about the incident but I told him I had no knowledge. I called one of my friends asked him to get a hold of the situation.

He told me that she had bruised her abdominal muscles and that was serious considering her being in her 50s. I immediately booked tickets and went home. I also messaged everyone not to convey anything to my brother as he was undergoing his exams.

I consulted with the doctor and was shocked to know that she required at least 3-4 months bedrest.

A few weeks passed and I was handling my father's business as he was helping my mother in her daily needs as she refused to hire a domestic help. Meanwhile, calls from my office started coming in for my return.

I decided to quit my job and help my parents because it was a time that they needed me the most. My managers also agreed for my quick separation.

I had been preparing for MBA entrance during my job and I continued it during business also though the outcome was not as I expected but it is still what many dream about.
