2.The location advantage:-
The b-school is located in the financial capital of the country. Being situated in south Mumbai which is one of the most premier locations in India, we have the natural advantage of being surrounded by organisations left and right. This helps the students with industry interactions which is helpful for students as we get a taste of how the industry works and how real life problems are tackled.
3.The professors and pedagogy:-
Having studied at the institute for one year, I can surely say that JBIMS has some of the best professors who are definitely as good as if not better than professors at any other school in the country. We have the opportunity to learn from some of the stalwarts in the industry who have worked for over 2 decades and know the in and out of the work like the back of their hands. When we have the best professors for all the subjects and every stream and the case study based approach, we know that the students will be well equipped for their future corporate careers.
JBIMS might not have the sprawling campuses or the best infrastructure like some of the other top B-schools in the country but we work around one core principle which is ‘The institute is as good as the students who pass out of it’. Keeping this one thing in mind the one building is fighting and besting the campuses around the country.
I would like Aditya Birla Group to consider our campus for hiring for all the reasons mentioned above. ABG has many companies under their umbrella and it would be great if companies like Idea Cellular and retail chains like Peter England, Van Heusen and Louis Philippe can consider our campus as we promise to provide ABG with some young and competent talent which can prove to be instrumental for their businesses in the long run.
