My Journey To IIM Raipur - Vedant Anil Mundada

While in college, I almost resented my decision every day of joining it and then decided to write CAT in 2015.

I couldn’t convert an of good colleges and took a job in an IT company instead. After 2 years of job experience and a good score in CAT 2017, I got a call from the CAP (Common Admission Process) round of the New IIMs.

Cracked the interview and got a call from a couple of new IIMs including IIM Raipur.

Just like every other B - school aspirant at the time I began to research the best institute I should join on the various criteria such as location, faculty, public opinion, placement reports and the alumni. After a lot of research, I zeroed on to IIM Raipur.

IIM Raipur, although been established recently in 2010, in a state which was created in 2000 showed some phenomenal growth in the league of its competitors namely the “new IIMs” was the most unique achievement in my opinion. It has a good placement record, a vibrant campus, one of the best foreign exchange programmes, superior pedagogy and some of the best brains in the country.

Not only that, it is coming up with a new 200 – acre campus in the world’s first integrated city of Naya Raipur with all the modern facilities which even old, more established IIMs also do not have. Seriously, what more could I ask?

WHICH ADITYA BIRLA GROUP COMPANY I WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH??

Although been established only a decade ago in 2007 (as Aditya Birla Financial Services), today it has become a major company in the world of finance in the country. Its products and services cover a range of financial services availed by people and other businesses.

Wanting to do my major in finance, I feel that the company will play a pivotal role in my career. I will be able to learn a lot of things and provide my expertise, from IIM Raipur and elsewhere, to help the company reach newer heights and conquer uncharted territories.
