The case study was rather an interesting one. A live problem situation from Philip’s ‘Consulting and Services’ portfolio domain of Health Systems business was provided to the students. They had to propose a solution for the same in a one-slider presentation. The challenge was to impart the prospective hospital owners in India, the Philips’s Strategy led design approach. In the early stages of building hospitals, Philips should become the most preferred option. The students were asked to play a young Marketing Manager and propose a solution for the same.
The Campus Round for SCMHRD was held on 5th of September at the SIC Auditorium where the top 6 shortlisted teams presented their respective solutions and impressed the panelists as well as the audienceswith their out-of-the-box thinking. The fifteen minutes given to each team to put forth their ideas also included a Q&A part which not just helped the panelists assess the teams better but also gave newer insights to the audience. The event witnessed full attendance from the students of SCMHRD who were both enthusiastic and interactive. At the end, ‘Team Innowaytors’ were declared the winners of the Campus Round.
