Finally, we have GD/WAT-PI preparation. Throughout, I've always stressed this part the most while talking about B-School admissions. A mistake most aspirants make is waiting for the CAT results before they start preparing for GD/WAT-PI. This makes only one month available for prep since some B-Schools start the process as early as February. B-School interviews are unpredictable and require a broad knowledge of various things to boost your confidence during the interview. GD/WAT, on the other hand, can have topics ranging from current affairs to abstract ones. So, if someone does not have a habit of writing articles or blogs, these skills also need to be brushed up. So, in my opinion, one should start preparation now, instead of waiting for the CAT results. Even if you don't get a single call, your knowledge about various topics and confidence increases.
Finally, most aspirants usually have a job at hand. They need to keep in mind that they need to keep working if they don't get into any B-School this year. So, performing well in that job is also essential. Learn to balance all these things, and you're prepared for MBA life better than most people!
