The city of Udaipur is famous for its heritage. The palaces in the city attract tourists from all over the world. The IIM Udaipur architecture is based on the same lines. The buildings don’t look like normal buildings. Instead, each building is like a fortress. The exteriors of the buildings are made of classy-looking bricks that have not been painted purposefully to give this visual appearance. Who knows, there may be one or two bomb-shelters hidden in some building.
Learning in IIM Udaipur doesn’t start in the classrooms. It starts in the super-comfortable hostel rooms where students have been provided with all the necessary facilities and even some luxuries (like ACs) so that they can concentrate on class-preparations without having to worry about trivial issues. The state-of-the-art classrooms act as markets for interaction between the professors and the students. Markets because there are no lectures in the classroom, but the 2-way flow of information and ideas between the professors and the students. This is why IIM Udaipur is able to attract some of the country’s best visiting faculties. The number of learning opportunities presented to students is really unfathomable.
These were just a few characteristics of the IIM Udaipur campus that make it unique. It is highly recommended that this 8th wonder of the world be visited by everyone at least once in their lifetime.
Which Aditya Birla Group company would I like to join?
I would love to work for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. I have a fascination with how consumers behave and I would love to learn from the largest fashion-lifestyle entity in India while giving my best to add value to the company. The brands under this company are some of the most famous fashion brands in the country and frankly, the question should be- Why would a person who is interested in consumer-behaviour and retail not want to join this company. I believe that Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited and I can have a long and mutually beneficial relationship.
