99.81%ile in CAT, and a call from all the IIMs, including BLACKI. 750 in GMAT, and cracking the ISB Young Leaders Program. Imagine doing all this in just your first attempt! That is the highly coveted position in which Vedant Singhania finds himself. He is a Final Year B.Sc. student from NMIMS, who wants to do an MBA. Having identified early on what he wants to do in his career, MBA seemed like the best option for him. Juggling between his undergrad course, his internship and exam prep, he has come out with flying colors. So how did he do all this?
In this video, Vedant shares with us his strategy on how he cracked CAT and GMAT. How did he prepare for both exams simultaneously? How did he approach the different sections? How did he approach his mocks? After speaking of his exam prep, he also talks of the ISB Young Leaders Program and the selection process for the same. He gives us details of his interviews, including the essays that he was asked to write for the selection process, and how he went about it. Watch this video and find out what he has to say.

Key Takeaways:
1. GMAT and CAT prep are similar, so you can prepare for both simultaneously.
2. Verbal in GMAT is quite different from CAT. It includes Critical Reasoning and Sentence Correction, which isn't a part of the CAT.
3. GMAT allows you to select the order in which you want to attempt the sections. Use it to your advantage.
4. Time management is key to your preparation. Especially if you are juggling your course, internship/job and exam prep.
5. For your interviews, be honest about yourself. B schools aren't just looking at your acads, but also how well you fit in their campus.
6. Clarity of future goals is a highly desirable trait in a candidate. If you are clear, your interviews will go comparatively smoothly.
