Important Takeaways For CAT Aspirants:
1. Just watching concept lectures on QA topics is not enough; you need to practice and improve your conceptual clarity.
2. Appear for multiple mock tests to get a true picture of what the CAT exam is like.
3. Don't underestimate CAT - it requires long hours, concentration, and practice. Don't become lax towards the end of your preparation.
4. If you don't have the time to attempt a lot of mock tests, you can improve sectional proficiency through multiple sectional mock tests.
5. For the QA section, split the topics into three categories - doable topics, difficult topics, and topics that are a lost cause. Focus the most on the first two categories.
6. For mock test analysis, solve questions (without a timer) that you got wrong or could not attempt. This will help optimize the number of questions you attempt in CAT.
7. Set realistic and achievable goals for yourself, don't be too ambitious when you have only a limited amount of time.
8. Don't fall prey to a pre-conceived notion that non-engineers find QA very hard. Spend a good amount of time strengthening your quantitative abilities.
