For this episode of ‘A Day in the Life of’, we went to Knowledge Park, Hiranandani, Powai where SDA Bocconi Asia Center is situated to find more about what goes on in a day at this campus in the heart of Mumbai. We were greeted by Anupam Srivastava, IMB Class of 2024, who welcomed us to the campus giving us a brief overview of what we could expect to see throughout our day on campus. Seeing as he had a class to attend, we decided to explore the campus a bit more when we met Ananya Dixit, IMB Class of 2024, who took us through the classroom experience at SDA Bocconi, the courses offered and how the confluence of India and Italy, instills them with global learnings and how the case study methodology prepares them to be astute decision makers.
She also told us about a few cross-border events that happen on campus, along with other educational amenities like the Digital library (E-Library) and so on.
After our chat with Ananya, we went on to explore the campus a little more, when we stumbled upon two students casually going against each other at a game of table tennis. Saurabh and Naina, both from the IMB Class of 2024, took us through the details of all extracurricular events and club activities that take place on the campus.
We then proceeded to meet Rohan Mehrotra and Diya Pansari, of IMB Classes of 2023 and 2024 respectively, where Rohan spilled beans on his experience with the Milan semester for us and for Diya who’d soon have her own experience in Milan. Moving on, we met Sae Gadre and Jacob John of IMB Class of 2023, who talked to us about the most important aspect of a B-School, its placement statistics.
They also talked about the various internships and CSR initiatives that are undertaken by them during the course of the program. After a long day at SDA Bocconi Asia Center, we finally bid adieu to the campus, ready to compile all the information we gathered in the form of this video.
