Clubs and committees are an integral part of the MBA curriculum and rigour. At DMS IIT Delhi, there are various student-led clubs representing the different domains of MBA. This culture helps promote the creativity and interest of the students in the business domains. It provides a platform for the students to showcase their abilities through various events and initiatives.

This article is a part of the series "Introduction to Clubs and Committees - Life at DMS.” Here's a glimpse into the clubbing lifestyle at the B-School.

AD-MARQUE - The Marketing Club

A cohort of marketing and advertising enthusiasts, Ad-Marque hosts a quirky and innovative lot of aspiring marketers. Sharing and curating content for people in Marketing, Brand Management, Campaign Planning, and related topics, the club provides a platform for creative ideas and discussions. They actively conduct various industry interaction avenues to gather practical insights from global leaders in the field of marketing.

CONSULERE - The Analytics & Consulting Club

Passionate about the domains of Analytics and Consulting, Consulere is the club housing these enthusiasts. Familiarising students with the latest trends and aspects of these domains, the club organises several events like webinars with industry stalwarts, case study lectures, domain-specific case competitions, quizzes, workshops, and many more engaging events. Apart from the business events, the club also publishes case booklets, which entail the concepts, insights, and significant eye-catching happenings of recent times in the field of Strategy and Consulting.

FINAZARDS - The Finance Club

The club is a composition of admirers of the financial world. Sharing and disseminating knowledge in the field of Finance, these enthusiasts promote peer to peer learning through multiple events such as guest lectures, finance workshops, and conclaves. The club aims to encourage students to explore Finance as a career option through infographics and weekly fin watch newsletters. If you're dazzled by the world of accounting, investment banking, trading, and capital markets, this is the place for you to hone your skills.

OPCENTUATE - The Operations Club

To develop an operational mindset among the student community, Opcentuate hosts several knowledge transfer sessions, workshops, certifications, and competency development courses. The club actively works towards familiarising the students with the trends in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management. They strive to maximise their reach by engaging students from all across the country to participate in business case competitions, quizzes, and simulation games. That's not all; with their biannual magazine publication - "Opurent'' they aim to extend the industry outreach of the Department. The magazine is an amalgamation of articles from DMS students, faculty, alumni, and business leaders.

So put on your domain suits and shining boots, and get ready to be a part of these clubs!

Warning: It's a stag entry, with selection criteria put in place to effectively judge your passion and skills. Rest assured, it will be an added B-school experience to cherish forever.
