I come from a small town Sawantwadi which is in Maharashtra. I started using mobile phone after my matriculation in 2009. At that point of time BSNL was the market leader in Sawantwadi owing to its connectivity and service.
But in no time Aditya Birla's Idea made an entry in the market with its lucrative recharge plans and service. As a result I along with my friends ended up being a part of Idea's huge customer base. Since then I have been a loyal and satisfied customer of Aditya Birla's Idea telecom business.
After completing my graduation in Civil Engineering I started working with a Cement Manufacturing organization and was placed to handle a Ready- Mix concrete plant.On the very first day of our training we were asked a very simple question "What is the most consumed material in the world (except Water)?" Everyone tried to answer but no one was able to get it right.
I was awestruck when I got to know that the answer was "CONCRETE". Also I got introduced to Aditya Birla's UltraTech as a competitor which was India's Largest and World's 10th largest cement producing entity. I got introduced to the work culture and values of ABG, and since then I always wanted to a part of the Aditya Birla Group and contribute to its efforts in developing Indian real estate sector.
After switching my job I started working with Cushman and Wakefield pvt ltd as a Project Engineer on one of the flagship redevelopment project in Chembur, Mumbai.
As a project engineer I was responsible for ensuring that we deliver the highest quality of work to our client. Concrete being the primary building material, we had multiple number of suppliers onboard.
With my Quality Inspection superior I got a chance to visit Aditya Birla's UltraTech Ready Mix Concrete plant located in Deonar, Mumbai for the quality inspection. It was a great learning experience for me.
As I had a prior experience in Ready Mix Concrete domian I was able to distinguish the practices followed by my previous employer and the Market Leader - UltraTech Cement.
