Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life?
Aditya Birla Group is one of the biggest multinational conglomerates in India which has operates in 35 countries with more than 1,20,000 employees across the world with revenue of US$44.3 billion from all the product viscose staple fibre, cement, metals, chemicals and many more in the year of 2018. They are affecting our life directly or indirectly in a positive way by their different subsidiaries.
Their Grasim industries limited was started in 1948 as a Viscose Staple Fibre manufacture which is widely used by textile companies for the manufacturing of high quality of cloths. Grasim industries was ranked 154th in the list of world’s best firms compiled by Forbes with revenue Rs56,162 crore in the year 2018. They are providing employment to nearly 8,669 people. This subsidiary is directly affecting our life by providing this employment to this huge no. of people.
Second Aditya Birla Group’s telecom i.e. Idea which is now merged with Vodafone India and becomes India’s largest telecom operator. They have now 393.25 million subscriber and gain revenue of US$5.5 billion in 2019. They are providing high speed internet at low price which is nowadays become very important in our daily life.
Thirdly their carbon black subsidiary. They produce carbon black which is used in tires, plastics, sealing system and belts to give strength to the product. Without carbon black a tire wouldn’t last long more than 100km. so they are making our life easy and allow us to roam around the world.
How you overcome challenges to achieve your ambitious in life so far?
“Everyone is different from each other and everyone has their own abilities and talent to achieve their goals” my mother taught me this line. Being a middle-class guy, it was very hard for me to think about my dreams and achieve them. But my family, specially mother, is always with me at every point and always encouraged me to never quit on your dreams & goals and always work hard to achieve them.
When I completed my secondary schooling, I decided to choose science stream in 11th class because I wanted to be an engineer and I was going to be the second person from my family who would become an engineering. After 12th class I took admission in a simple engineering college. Being a Hindi medium guy, one of my biggest problem was that I couldn’t understand English it was very difficult for me to understand the conversation and things taught by teachers, but I never quit and I keep myself busy in learning English and secured good marks and received honoured degree from the college. After that I never stop in my life and I fight in entrance exam and secured good marks and got admission in NITIE Mumbai and currently doing pursuing PGDPM course.
So in my life many time I thought that I should quit I can not do this but I never allow this feeling to overcome me and I worked hard and got whatever I want in my life.
