In our list of India's Best 50 - the 50 Most Employable Students from the Class of 2020-22, we feature MBA students who have walked that extra mile and done that little more to stand out! One of those featured in today's story, Akash Jaiswal, has shown an incredible amount of passion to achieve his true potential. Read on and find out his story!

The following are Akash Jaiswal’s set of responses to a questionnaire floated amongst MBA graduates to determine the top-50 Most Employable MBA Graduates of the Class of 2022. Amongst the massive number of entries and responses being evaluated, Akash's story and profile stood out. Here's his story in his own words.

Name an instance where you wanted something and went out of your comfort zone to achieve it? OR Tell us the biggest risk you have taken so far in your life.

The biggest challenge that I had faced was transferring to 4 different cities since my childhood and were Kanpur, Gurugram, Shahjahanpur, and Vindhyanagar and 2 changes were at 9th and 11th classes where I had to follow different pressurized schedules managing parallel with the coaching that tested my patience up to an extreme level. The constant requirement to adjust to new environments and exposure to new cultures taught me to find joy in facing new challenges and learning from failure and that develops adaptability and never gives up approach in me. My parents guidance helped me in gaining and following ethical values and my observation added to the continuous growth that helped me in building my self-confidence and motivated me to do better and follow the right path in life which shaped me as an individual.
When was the last time someone relied on you? OR What did you do which was purely for someone else - a truly selfless act. Currently, I am guiding my juniors for the CAT exam & trying to motivate them & boost their confidence as Pandemic hit their preparations in many ways including family & I am trying my best to help them as much as I can so that They can achieve their Aim. During my undergraduate (2015-19), The Koshish named foundation is running for the underprivileged kid's education for nearby students who are not able to study due to financial problems. In the evening, we took classes for around 2 hours & cover extracurricular activities as well to develop their interest in various fields. It lead to more involvement of mentors & students & now it is running as an NGO named "Koshish Educational and Welfare Society". It gives immense pleasure & joy to do my small bit in such a good initiative.
Tell us about a time when you disagreed with an opinion/idea/decision. What did you do about it? During my job, I disagreed with an opinion on process improvement in managing databases outage situations & gave them recommendations as being SPOC of command center team that will help our team to work efficiently & effectively. They advised me to follow both techniques over 1 week & we will implement that one which will be more efficient & error-free. I move ahead with it & gave them a report on both for weekly performance.
What is the one thing you can claim to have some level of expertise or depth of knowledge in - it could be anything - a subject, a sport, a hobby, a venture, an initiative which has led you to do deep work in that field? One thing which I had the expertise of some level is Motivation & Believe in Yourself!!This power I got interacted during my IIT preparations from my Chemistry professor, Dr. T Singh. He witnessed us from that power & make us believe in positivity & develop our potential up to an extreme level. I wasn't able to crack IIT advanced but I develop the solution-oriented approach, Never Give Up attitude, positivity, learning from each observation, each failure that helped me to grow as an individual & hanged my perspective of life.Even today, I always try to develop that positive with my juniors, friends & make them believe that They can achieve anything they want & that thing brings a Smile & a source of positive energy in me as well.
If 10 Million Dollars (approximately INR 73.5 Crores) is given to you to use it any way you deem fit what would you do with this corpus? I would like to spend it in four divisions. Firstly I want to spend 25% amount on buying a home & a car for my parents which they kept on hold for my studies. I want to gift them these things. Next 25% I want to invest in stocks after analyzing the current market trends. The next 25%, I want to spend in building my own startup implementing the current technology in building a more compatible food chain for customers. Last 25% of the amount, I want to invest in the education & health sector for the needy ones so that they can grow & create their own futures.
