Aritra Mondal’s journey has been marked by adaptability, resilience, and a drive to excel across diverse environments. Attending seven schools across multiple states during his formative years instilled in him the ability to navigate change effortlessly while maintaining academic and extracurricular excellence. This adaptability, coupled with his leadership skills, earned him the role of School Vice-Captain in the 11th standard, where he demonstrated his ability to inspire and lead peers effectively.
With a passion for numbers, Aritra pursued Electronics Engineering from VIT, Mumbai University, where he not only excelled academically but also actively participated in cultural, sports, and organizational initiatives. His role in managing the college’s social media accounts as part of the PR team and his internship in marketing during his third year sparked a keen interest in management, setting the stage for his eventual transition to an MBA.
Professionally, Aritra began his career at Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI), where he developed web automation scripts and later transitioned into an analytics role. These experiences not only refined his technical expertise but also deepened his interest in roles that blend analytical thinking with managerial skills. The global log4j vulnerability crisis during his time at LTI tested his problem-solving abilities, as he led a week-long effort to patch vulnerabilities, ensuring zero downtime for client systems. This experience showcased his resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
At JBIMS, Aritra has continued to build on his achievements, securing the prestigious O.P. Jindal Scholarship for his academic performance and earning a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from Accenture Strategy & Consulting for his outstanding work during his internship. His ability to balance academic rigor with extracurricular passions is further evidenced by his initiative in co-founding the JBIMS Chess Club, culminating in hosting an event with former World Chess Champion Vishwanathan Anand.
Aritra’s integrity and ethical decision-making have been a guiding principle throughout his journey. Whether it was standing firm against falsifying test results during an internship or making tough decisions as the captain of his college cricket team, he has consistently prioritized collective success over personal gain.
