Imagine a career trajectory where you start your journey as an investment banker at one of the most coveted companies like Goldman Sachs and then decide to opt for a venture capitalist firm as a partner. But, while you are on the trajectory of immense growth such as this, you decide to learn and gain more knowledge about something that you were always passionate about! This is exactly what Preethi Kasireddy’s story will offer you. A fitness enthusiast, dancer, Twitter influencer, writer, blogger, and Founder & CEO of TruStory, Preethi is many things in one. In this episode, we dived into this candid conversation to know more about what gives her a kick, why constantly learning and updating yourself is so important, and what are the future careers of tomorrow!

Preethi started as an Industrial & Systems Engineer from the University of Southern California and went on to work as an engineer for some time. It is at this time that she got an offer from Goldman Sachs for a summer internship. Things moved in her favor when she actually converted this opportunity to a job and went on to work for Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Analyst for over a year. What many would define as a career-defining moment, Preethi was looking to explore more. By this time the entrepreneurial bug had bitten her and she joined a VC firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) as a partner.

She wanted to start something on her own, and to learn more about coding, she decided to take the learning path once again. After training herself at Hack Reactor in coding, she joined Coinbase, where she came to terms with Ethereum and blockchain.
She describes her time at these cutting edge companies, learning the different aspects of the future of businesses and ultimately came up with her own company TruStory. Find her journey in this video and tell her in the comments section what do you think about the future of work?
