B-schools are supposed to be a combination of the right mix of academics and corporate connect. As much as academic pedagogy is important, it is equally important to provide networking opportunities and building corporate connections for the students to look at a brighter career. We discussed the same with Prof. Rajnesh Chauhan, Dean- Corporate Relations and Prof. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya, Dean- Academics at FORE School of Management to understand how the overall B-school experience helps students get the best out of their 2 years and what are the pros and cons of B-school placements.   Prof. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya has been associated with FORE for over 16 years and she discusses the changing patterns of the world of education, MBA in general and how are B-schools coping up with them. Prof. Rajneesh Chauhan talks about the corporate exposure students at FORE get through not only placement drives but through different seminars, guest lectures and conferences that it organizes. He further explains how placements of any B-school is related to the kind of students and their academic background that come in.
