I come from a family where my parents are government sector professionals. They have always wanted me to work hard, grow and do well in all spheres of life. I have been a self-motivated individual right from my childhood and have always wanted to do well in my life. I have been one of the most obedient and sincere students in my class.
Keeping up with the dedication, after school I wanted to get into the finest college for commerce in the country and worked hard to get into it. For the first time in my life, the result said otherwise. For the first time, something I wanted to happen didn’t seem to be possible. I joined some other college which is also one of the best colleges in the country but wasn’t “THE BEST”.
It took me 6 months to come to terms with not getting the college of my dream. But this incident sparked in me the will to put in much more effort than I had been putting earlier. I wanted to work hard, prove myself and my worth, not just academically but also in extracurriculars like public speaking, event management, etc.
This incident taught me that it is not just the brand that matters every time. It is also your will that can take you to places and make you do well in life, spark in your ambition of not just doing well financially but also psychologically.
