Dr. Chandan Singhavi
Prof (Dr.) Chandan Singhavi works as Data Science and Technology faculty at K J Somaiya Institute of Management. She has 19 years of experience in academia. She is a member of BOS/ advisory committee/ Subject Board IT/ Data Science since 2009. She is the Co-Chairperson Admissions committee of K J Somaiya Institute of Management and a member of the Somaiya Vidyavihar University Admissions Committee. Her research work is in the area of ICT in Education has resulted in many national and international publications in renowned journals including ABDC. Her research has also led to an impact in schools and work of the NGOs like Pratham. She is an advisor at Pratham, the NGO in the Education sector.
Dr. Radha Iyer
Dr. Radha Iyer is a Professor with K J Somaiya Institute of Management in General Management and facilitates Entrepreneurship & Innovation courses. She has a Ph.D. in Employee Training & Development. Along with twenty years of academic experience, she has a decade of industry experience, having worked with Indian Hotels Company Limited (The Taj Group of Hotels), Marico Industries, and The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited. She is the chairperson for the “Innovation & Pathfinder” - the entrepreneurship-cell at the K J Somaiya Institute of Management campus. Academically she has contributed to literature in entrepreneurial education, women entrepreneurs, innovation, and training & Employee development.
Dr. Shalini Talwar
Dr. Shalini Talwar is Programme Coordinator of MBA Financial Services and Associate Professor in the Department of Finance & Law. An MBA graduate and PhD. in Management, she has cumulative work experience of over 24 years in industry and academia. An acclaimed researcher, Dr. Talwar has published her work in high impact refereed journals such as International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Production Research, and International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Her book titled ‘Security Analysis and Portfolio Management' published by Cengage Learning is offered as a textbook in several management institutes. She also has extensive corporate and faculty training experience, having conducted several MDPs and FDPs for corporates and reputed institutions.
Dr. Swati Godbole
Dr. Swati Godbole is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Doctorate in Management. She is a qualified DISA (Diploma in Information System Audit) holder and Associate Professor with K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research in the Department of Finance & Law. She has a rich teaching experience spanning over 27 years, covering junior, degree, and management students. Various well-known institutes have invited her to facilitate sessions on several topics covering the areas of Taxation, Financial Accounting, and Financial Management.
Apart from teaching, she has been practicing independently since 1993 and has carried out Audit assignments for various Private Limited Companies, Partnership Concerns, and Individuals. She has also been a Consultant for a few companies for Accounting, Auditing, and Finance. Bank Branch audits of various banks, Management consultancy, and Tax consultancy have been other assignments covered by her in her practice of over 20 years. She had carried out MDP programs for Thyssen Krup – Nasik, RBS Bank– Mumbai & Chennai, INS Hamala, to name a few.
