Introduce some of your crazy batch-mates
She calls herself “Quite loud and boisterous, but a silent observer”. Srividya is the kind of person who almost always has a positive vibe around her and makes you want to go talk to her, although she says that she doesn’t look very “innocent”. She is someone you might want to talk to after a boring lecture or on a boring day to get your energy back. Her health issues did not stop her from going on a solo trip to Bhutan, nor did it stop her from continuing her love of trekking. A South Indian settled in Mumbai, she dedicatedly watches all South Indian movies although she isn’t quite fluent with the languages. Similar to me in multiple ways, she is a big Potterhead, Ravenclaw, book lover and a feminist.
This guy is really good at writing love stories and I can see a future IIM graduate turned writer in him. He has his own blog in which he writes stories and also motivational pieces. He is a good observer and sometimes he might steal your name for one of his stories like he took the name of a colleague in one of his love stories. He doesn’t speak much, but when he does, you might want to use a dictionary to understand some of those sophisticated words. I understand from what he has told me that he is a very helpful person, because he actually attended a class in his friend’s college and marked proxy attendance for four people. Where else can one find a person so kind!!!
“The Monday borns are born because God wanted to laugh on somebody.” - -Aditi Jain, Inventor of weird theories. - (She is a Monday born herself)
Claims to be a level A+++ stalker. She can find out peoples’ addresses with pin codes even without any basic details. She claims she doesn’t follow them home, but I doubt it. She has crazy business ideas, and she makes them up on the spot. This saved us once when we had a group task to do and nobody else in our group turned up. No Financial Accounting hour is complete without the professor making a “Gujju” joke on her. Also, if someone other than me makes a Harry Potter reference in class, you can be sure it would be her.
She’s the first girl I met in my hostel. We started talking right away and it went on for more than an hour. We’re both from Kerala, but she grew up in Bhopal and has this very different but cute accent to her Malayalam. This is a secret, but sometimes I deliberately talk to her in Malayalam though I know she’s more comfortable in Hindi or English just so that I can hear her accent. Sneha loves reading Harry Potter fanfictions and they have made love the characters others hate and hate those that others love. She’s so much addicted to them that even after making submissions at odd hours she cannot go to sleep without reading them for at least 10 minutes. Another thing about her- she loves cats and has five of them at home. She’s so crazy about them that when I asked her to give me a photo for this article she gave me a photo of her cats!
Which ABG company would you like to work for and why?
I would like to work for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. One reason for this is that I am quite interested in the fashion industry. I would specifically love to work with ABFRL is because of the organization being such an amazing place to work in. I have read quite a few testimonials from people who have worked in various positions in the organization and I feel that working here would not only provide me with a pleasant and happy working environment but will also help in my personal growth.
