For the interest of aspirants, the Admissions and PR Team of SCMHRD came with one of a kind competition SCMHRDZeal this year. SCMHRDZeal is a competition that engaged students aspiring for an MBA throughout the country, which didn’t just give them a humongous podium to showcase their skills but also helped them in enhancing their strengths and recognize their areas of improvement.
SCMHRDZeal 2019 was conducted in three phases: the first being a round called “A date with SNAP” which was a simulation of the SNAP exam which assisted students to have a glimpse of the changes that happened in SNAP this year. It was followed by a “Case Study” round which required a creative solution to an intricate case where students were required to think out of the box.
The third phase was the Campus Round, the grand finale was conducted on 5th of October, in which five participants got the opportunity to be on campus and present the case before the jury comprising Dr. Philip Coelho, Adjunct faculty, SCMHRD who has 36 years of work experience as Vice President HR in the corporate and Dr. Aditi Naidu, Assistant professor, SCMHRD who has been in the profession of teaching for the past 15 years.
Mr. Aritra Chakraborty from Kolkata was declared the winner of the competition; Ms. Shreya Mishra from Jamnagar the first runner-up and Mr. Aman Siddiqui from Delhi, the second runner-up. The three candidates were awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000, along with SNAP online course by Learn4Exam. The finalists also got an opportunity to experience life at SCMHRD as they interacted with students and got insights into MBA.
Overall, the competition provided a holistic view of an aspirant journey which they would be facing in the upcoming months. Every year it provides various opportunities to aspirants and SCMHRDZeal held the baton in engaging them very extensively. The next big opportunity coming their way is SCMHRD Rookie which will inculcate similar learning experiences for them on digital platforms.
