Life at B-School is filled with fun, challenges and great learning and the best thing that can happen to a graduate is that he gets a similar environment at his workplace. Capgemini’s E.L.I.T.E. Program has introduced me to a workplace that provides the most conducive environment to learn, grow and enjoy. 
The journey for E.L.I.T.E. Program started on 12th June and since then it has been a roller-coaster ride. The 5-week training which ended with a week in Les Fontaines, France introduced me to an unexplored side of me. The weeks included leadership sessions, Capgemini related sessions, Pinnacle workshop and Consulting Skills Workshop training. All these sessions, though entirely different, had one common theme in the background which unified them to provide an enriching learning experience and it was Capgemini’s Core Values. The seven core values of Capgemini – Honesty, Boldness, Trust, Freedom, Team Spirit, Modesty and Fun have been present all along the journey and have helped me to develop a new perspective. 
From the start, one thing that has been emphasised the most is team spirit. All activities and projects have been team building exercises for us. With CSW training projects, E.L.I.T.E. rotation assignments going on at the same time, we learnt to stick together and cherish the journey together. These projects provided us with an understanding of the consulting world and helped us in learning the importance of team members.
In the various sessions held during the course of 5 weeks, every Senior leader advised us to be honest towards ourselves, and towards colleagues and to be modest no matter how up the ladder one climbs. La Niaque – Fire in the Belly – is the concept that is the most important in Capgemini. It motivates a person to learn and grow with a never-ending inspiration.
Last but not the least, fun is in Capgemini’s DNA. Be it bowling, a scavenger hunt in Hyderabad, team outings and dinners, every event has been a fun-filled one. Les Fontaines was a once in a lifetime experience that was cherished by all 19 E.L.I.T.E. trainees and will always be remembered.
The training program has provided us relevant tools and experiences to be successful on the fast track journey that lies ahead of us. With all the trainees starting their first rotation, everyone is excited to begin their corporate journey.
