CAT 2023 Result is now available online on the official website of CAT 2023 for the online exam held on 26 November 2023. IIM Lucknow released the CAT Result 2023 a little earlier on 21 December 2023. All the appeared candidates must download the CAT Score Card online using their login details and save it on their devices for future reference.
As informed by IIM Lucknow, around 2.88 lakh of the total 3.28 lakh registered candidates appeared in the examination. The overall attendance was 88 percent.

Candidates must note that the authority will not send the CAT 2023 Result offline. After declaring the CAT 2023 Result, IIMs and Non-IIMs Institutions will start the shortlisting process to select the candidates for the final selection round. CAT Result cum scorecard is an important document and the candidates have to show it while attending the final selection process.
Steps to Download the CAT 2023 Result
To view your CAT Result, which is released online by IIM Lucknow on December 21, 2023, follow these steps:
- Go to the official CAT website.
- Select the 'Registered Candidate' option.
- Click on 'Login.'
- Enter your registered user ID and password in the provided boxes.
- You will see the scorecard option.
- Click on the scorecard button and download the result.

CAT 2023 Normalisation Process
The CAT Result undergoes a Score Normalization Process to maintain fairness. This process accounts for scale differences in score distributions across different forms. Following the overall normalization, there is a subsequent normalization done for each section.
For reporting purposes, Scaled Scores for each section (Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Section III: Quantitative Ability (QA)) and Total along with the Percentiles are published for each candidate.
