Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”- Thomas Edison, Inventor of the light bulb. Following are the 12 tips one must remember in the last couple of days before the CAT exam Preparation 2023. 1)You can do it- I know many of you are not able to score in some of the mock tests and getting disheartened with the mock scores, it happens with most of us but never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat, keep the faith and be in the fight till the last minute of the exam. 2) Play on your strengths - Try to maximize your score in that particular section and topic you feel confident about. 3) Revision is a must- Revise the formulas but do not start or try to learn any new concept that you haven’t studied yet in these couple of days, This will only lead to more confusion and self-doubt. 4) Focus on Accuracy-Till now you might be well aware of your accuracy so aim for accuracy not just increasing the number of attempts. Many times in the quest for increasing the number of attempts we forego the accuracy. Give special emphasis on accuracy.

Check the RTI data analysis and selection criteria for the top IIMs.

5) Go through the entire section briefly in the starting -Do not start solving the first question you get on your screen as the test starts rather you should take a look at the entire section in the first 5 minutes and get an idea of the questions which are easy, medium, and hard based on their difficulty level. Solve the easy and medium difficulty level questions first. Once you have solved the easy and medium difficulty level questions then you should attempt the ones you perceive as hard and time-consuming, if the time permits. 6) Finalize your strategy for each section- This is the time you must be thorough with your strategy for D-day.

7) Don't be obstinate and stubborn regarding a question - You might be good at a particular topic, and in an exam, despite trying for 2-3 minutes you are unable to get an answer. Move forward and attempt the remaining questions. Do not make it an ego thing and avoid wasting a lot of time on a single question.

8) Mental stability - Prioritize mental stability by managing anxiety and stress. Engage in positive self-talk and relaxation techniques during mock tests and the final days of CAT exam preparation 2023. 9) Focus on health - A candidate must have a proper healthy diet to avoid any health issues during the last few days. 10) D-day preparations -This involves locating your CAT center in advance and arranging transportation in advance to avoid last-minute challenges, carrying an original identity card and admit card, etc. 11) Pay attention to instructions and guidelines - One must carefully read all the instructions given on the admit card and follow them. Also, one must follow the guidelines mentioned during the exam. 12) Sound sleep before Day D – A candidate must have proper sleep before D-day so that he can concentrate and stay alert during the exam. May the odds be in your favour!
