There has been no man who has achieved what he has without any adversities in life. As they say "Greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it", success only comes to those who fight for it. And such has been my life with many difficulties and me overcoming them at every step to achieve my ambitions.

The first one of them came during the time when I was writing my 12th board exams. I had gotten seriously ill and had to be hospitalized two days before my Physics exam. My morale was at the minimum and I had given up all hope. It was only through the support of my parents and the will to pass the exam, did I study and clear it albeit barely.

During the third semester of engineering, I had scored the lowest percentage ever in my academic career so far. I made a promise to myself that I will only improve from that point. Since that day onwards I studied more and more, better than the previous day and my percentage improved with every passing semester. There is an old saying "Work hard in silence and let your success be your noise". My hard work and dedication finally paid off when I was the topper of my college in the final semester of engineering.

After my engineering, I decided to pursue a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and left no stone unturned in preparing for the entrance examinations. It was during the final exam of the season, the MH-CET, that I had to overcome one of my toughest challenges yet. With just 20 minutes to go, there was a power outage at my test centre and all hell broke loose. I had to keep my composure and my head clear because losing hope now meant I would not only ruin my exam but also a shot at a good MBA college. The power finally came back after an agonizing 90 minutes and the exam resumed. I gave my absolute best for the remaining time which might be the most intense 20 minutes of my life. My prayers were answered when I scored 99.88 percentile and was able to secure admission in one of the best MBA colleges of our country.

"I don't run away from a challenge because I am afraid. Instead, I run towards it because the only way to escape fear is to trample it beneath your foot." - Natalie Comaneci.
