  The final placements at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras for the batch of 2022-2024 saw 32 companies participate to recruit from a batch of 84 students. The 2024 batch comprises 59% Engineers/ Architecture, 13% B.Com/ BBA graduates, and 10% for  Life Sciences and Economics.  48% of the batch are freshers. The average work- experience of the batch is 1.1 years.  The record 100% placements for DoMS saw new recruiters like NTT Data, Forge, and Garuda Aerospace where 37% of the batch was placed through PPOs.

Conclusion Due to shifts in the characteristics of recent batches (such as level of experience) and challenging market conditions, there has been a notable decrease in the average salary statistics.
