Anjalee has been chosen as one of the top 50 most employable candidates across B-schools and programmes in India for the Class of 2016. She has one of the best 50 profiles among the candidates who participated in the Best50 competition. About Me I am Anjalee Saxena, a B.tech graduate in Computer Science, currently pursuing MBA from IIM Indore. I have interned in Goldman Sachs. I have always been a person who has exposed herself to diverse areas and who always looks for opportunities to learn. From the very beginning, I have been inclined towards oratory and won many inter-school debate competitions. But this never deviated me from concentrating on my academics. I was consistently ranked 1 for five consecutive years in school and I was awarded a scholarship covering 100% tuition fee for my meritorious performance in class X I was keen on taking responsibilities from the very start, I was nominated to be the Head Girl of the school. In my under graduation, I was the president of Cultural Society and headed a team of 60 with more than 300 volunteers. In IIM Indore, I am a Placement Coordinator. As a 13 member placement committee, we have achieved 100% summer placements for a batch of 560 participants in record time with a 28% increase in average stipend. In IIM Indore, I focussed on maximum learning and utilization of my two years, so I went on to participate in various competitions in the fields of Marketing, Finance and Operations. The hard work paid off when I was a campus finalist in KPMG International Case Study Competition (KICC), secured 19th rank nationally in BNP Paribas Ace Manger and Won HUL Unplugged. I have been awarded a Pre-Placement Interview by KPMG for excellent performance in KICC. Moving on to my personal interests, I love to swim, read books and pen down my thoughts occasionally. I am a regular blogger and I maintain my own blog. What have you done in your life that you are the proudest of? Everyone has moments in life that make them feel happy and satisfied of their actions. I have always believed that the happiest you can get is when you make others happy. Even a smallest action that makes someone else smile because of you is worth it. I always try to find such avenues and in IIM Indore, I got this opportunity when I became one of the placement coordinators. The whole process of summer placements was an amazing experience for me. The smiles and relief on the faces of the candidates when they got placed made the whole hard work worth it. When we finished the summers, I was proud of my decision of joining placement committee and it was actually one of the proudest moments of my life. If you had unlimited money, what would be that one mobile application that you would create and what problem would it solve? I am a person who observes small issues that people face in day to day life and try to think of ways to solve them. One such idea struck my mind when I see Indian markets especially during the rush hours and occasions. Parking is a huge hassle! You go in a jolly mood to do shopping, but get irritated when you can’t find parking at all or park at a place that you have to walk a mile to reach your desired shop. This problem can be easily solved through a mobile application, wherein an app will be created which can allocate parking beforehand and you can just go to the market and park your car at the same spot. To add to that, collaborations can be done with the parking contractors and the guy who marks the entry for the car that goes in can also allocate a parking to you when you go in so that you don’t have to search for a parking spot once you go to the parking. The application will have live status of the spots that are filled either through online booking or by cars that have been parked there. This will ease a lot of hustle bustle that occurs when it comes to parking in busy places. Now go for shopping without worrying about the parking space at least! I would like to end by saying what I believe firmly “Every problem has a solution; It’s just a matter of thought and perception”   Meet the rest of India’s 50 Most Employable Management Graduates from the Class of 2016 here
