Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai is a premier institute of higher learning which was established in 1936, and has been offering a renowned 2-year Postgraduate Program in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations (erstwhile PMIR) since 1962. It is a NAAC 5 Star accredited Central Government Deemed University. Today, TISS enjoys national and international reputation for churning out the best HR talent around. Recently the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) rated the TISS at 3.89 / 4.00, the second highest in the country for all the universities accredited by the NAAC.
TISS conducted its Final Placement Process for the HRM & LR batch of 2014-16, on 17
th and 18
th January, 2016. All offers were made in the Human Resource function.
Mentioned below is a snapshot of the Placements:
-ITC was the highest recruiter making 6 offers.
-Students with relevant work experience were hired into middle management positions by companies making Lateral Placement Offers. Some of these companies were Hero MotoCorp, Ola Cabs, Cognizant, Wipro, Cipla and KPMG.
-Fieldwork Placement offers were given by Citibank and Lodha Group.
