Aditya Birla group being founded in 1857 has been a big influencer not only in my life but millions of other Indians. Aditya Birla group is one of the oldest businesses founded in India which stands strong till date. The company does not only facilitate services in India but also is one of the flag bearers of our country’s name around the world.

The employment opportunities that the conglomerate offers on a widespread level is magnificent with various job opportunities to explore different fields and broaden our horizons. The major way Aditya Birla group influences my life is through Aditya Birla fashion and retail industry. Being a woman, it has impacted my lifestyle and fashion choices on a big level. The company provides affordable fashion and keeps up with the changing market trends giving variety of options as and when the fashion trend changes. The various foreign brands like Forever 21 and Ralph Lauren have an access to the Indian market because of the company. The pantaloons fashion limited provides affordable clothing to various sections of the Indian society. Brands like Allen Solly and Forever 21 are my go-to destinations for shopping anytime and for any occasion. It has impacted my life for various other requirements such as food and home appliances. The More supermarket provides the most affordable home requirements and other food items. “An idea can change your life”- the very famous tagline of the network provider Idea (now Vodafone Idea Ltd) has been a part of my life for a long time. The very tagline of the service provider is a confidence boost. I am a constant user of the service provider and strongly trust its services. Aditya Birla group has been one of the faces that represent India on a global platform bringing in foreign investment in our country. The various education centres and schools opened by the corporation in various rural and urban areas gives inspiration to millions of youths all over the country. The charitable ventures that the company takes up is highly inspirational.

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES TO ACHIEVE MY AMBITIONS IN LIFE

Challenges are the driving forces behind achieving any aim in life. Be it on a small level like a small school competition or a big job interview, challenges are there in all phases of life and overcoming them is the only way to reach our aims and ambitions in life. Growing up I have faced many challenges of which stage fear has been a major one to overcome. It still exists in some way and I am trying to overcome it by taking part in various events and activities that require facing a small or big audience. Stage fear can lower the confidence even for on-on-one interviews and hence it was very necessary to work on it. It is still a work in progress though. To overcome this, I had participated in debates in my college along with my peers which helped me to a certain level. I was extremely terrified for my NMIMS interview round and thought I wouldn’t make it through but I gathered my strength and held my own throughout the process. Finally, I was able to face my fears and make it through. Overcoming challenges over the course of time paves the way to achieve greater things in life and brings us closer to our goal every day. Another challenge that hinders my growth in life is the non-capability to say ‘no’ when required. This has created many problems and I end up doing work I don’t really want to do and isn’t my priority. The ability to say no only comes with experience which I am still supposed to gain in life and I am sure I’ll overcome this challenge and not let it hinder my work life and my responsibilities in future. Daily life encounters and experiences in this ever-changing world is one of the biggest teachers in life and teaches us how to overcome various challenges and helps us move a step closer towards our aim. As the saying goes “One step at a time”.
