Imagine getting a hefty pay package as a consultant at McKinsey and then deciding to join one of the major sporting channels ESPN at almost a 80% pay cut! That's what passion for sports can lead you to. And our guest today has no regrets for choosing the same. We welcome Arvind Iyenger, the CEO of global sports solutions provider Sportz Interactive in this special episode. A candid conversation where he spilled the beans about his love for sports during the IIT Bombay days, auditioning for ESPN to be a sports commentator, leaving a high paying McKinsey job and handling Sportz Interactive. Keep watching.

*This is a promoted feature. With tags of both IIT B and McKinsey, Arvind shares his experience on how he went on to work with ESPN in Singapore and what that changed for him. He understood that he was looking for a place where he can marry both his passion for sports and reach a position where he can put an impact and bring about a positive change through a management position. Upon realizing the same, he went on to do an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business where he got the zeal of becoming an entrepreneur. He further mentions about his association with KKR and then getting into Sportz Interactive. Sharing secrets about the importance of data in today's world and how Sportz Interactive is making a mark at present.

In the end, he explains the different career prospects available in the sports industry, and how being just a sports enthusiast isn't enough to make a career. He talks about Sporjo, and how he has tied up with Sporjo to offer paid internships to candidates who take the SPORSCORR TEST.
If you want to kick start your career in sports, then Sporjo has an exclusive launch deal for you! Sporjo is offering paid internships to 20 selected candidates in 4 of the sports industry's top companies.
