"During my stint as an assistant manager at Maruti Suzuki, I was involved in the ideation of IT systems which would enhance the operating benchmarks for the logistics division. While working on the same, I understood that there is a huge delay in the speed of idea to implementation which resulted in stakeholder dismay. I went out of the way to hold multiple meetings in a bottom-to-top approach bridging the gap between operations and the IT team. This effort of mine was recognized by the MSIL senior management and I was given the responsibility to streamline the project executions. With the support from stakeholders at all levels, I helped build a mechanism for execution visibility which drastically improved the working dynamics. Within 6 months we were able to complete 75% of projects which were pending for more than 3 years. I was also awarded the quarterly performance award and later was also recommended for the annual award at MSIL."
When was the last time someone relied on you? OR What did you do which was purely for someone else - a truly selfless act.
"Being a musician who loves to get along with people, I hosted online live sessions during the lockdown collaborating with MyScoot and partnering with NGOs to raise capital and awareness about various issues like education and health. Within a period of 3 months, I was able to raise a corpus of 10,000 through ticket sales which were solely for helping the unprivileged sections of the society."
Tell us about a time when you disagreed with an opinion/idea/decision. What did you do about it?
"People are reluctant to change especially when you suggest modes that influence their work dynamics. As a project manager, I had to face constant friction with working teams about whether an initiative should be undertaken. To bridge gaps, I used the power of data to prove my hypothesis both to the operations team and management for synergistic developments."

If 10 Million Dollars (approximately INR 75 Crores) is given to you to use it any way you deem fit what would you do with this corpus?
"I would partner up with NGOs to provide electricity solutions in slums by leveraging the power of solar energy. A single kit will cost around 7,000 which would help in raising the living standards of the needy. This will help to provide basic facilities like lighting and functional fans.”
