I first took CAT in the year 2017, without a single mock test or even a smattering of what to expect in the exam. The result was unsurprisingly abysmal but now, I had an idea of what I wanted to achieve. I was, however, skeptical of being able to cope with CAT preparation and a job and had friends working at IT companies who hadn’t fared too well in CAT while working. I then came across a job opening at InsideIIM, and it was the perfect mix of everything I wanted - working with a startup, being in close contact with the massive world of CAT, and a content creation role. Little did I know that it would only get better!
Within the first week itself, I began to understand that the ‘IIM’ in InsideIIM meant a lot more to the team than anyone could possibly imagine. It will not be an exaggeration to say that the entire team lives and breathes CAT and works every single day to help MBA aspirants achieve their dream of making it to a business school. Being a startup, things were very fast-paced and learning opportunities were immense! In my time here, I have had the opportunity to experience and immerse myself in the basics of business while staying focused on my ultimate goal - belling the CAT; a goal the team at InsideIIM has actively helped me seek!
Now, as our MBA community expands and we head into the new year, InsideIIM has begun the hunt for someone as obsessed with the world of CAT as we aspirants are, and invites all CAT 2020 and CAT 2021 aspirants to join our team!

Who We Are Looking For
Content is at the heart of everything we do here at InsideIIM. From the end-to-end production of videos that reach hundreds of thousands of our community members, to hardcore number crunching to create data-driven content that solves problems - we do it all. To serve our community better, we are looking for a protean Content Creator who is able to combine an analytical outlook with creative output, and has unlimited potential for learning. You need to be able to think on your feet, be versatile in the type of content you create, understand the audience that you serve and solve their problems.
We will prefer previous CAT test-takers and CAT aspirants over other applicants, so if you’re a CAT aspirant, this a golden opportunity to take make this entire year all about getting into your dream business school!
What’s In It For You
So, you want to join a business school. But how well do you really know how a business works? How well versed are you with ambiguity, tight deadlines, leadership, and customer delight? Is your business acumen developed enough for a B-school classroom?
As a team member at InsideIIM, you will be taken right down to the basics of business. You will be working in a startup as a mini-entrepreneur and will learn more about business every day on the shop floor than you will in a B-school classroom. You will learn to shoulder responsibility, lead teams, and learn the cross-functional processes of a small business. By the time you appear for your first B-school interview, you will know more about business and business schools than most of your peers, putting you way ahead of the curve and giving you a serious advantage over everyone else in the waiting lounge. But that’s not all.
Once you join InsideIIM as a Content Creator, you will be working closely with IIM students, ex-CAT toppers, CAT experts from across the country and massive brands recruiting at elite business schools. To top it off, you will be exposed to thousands of CAT aspirants just like yourself, which will be an opportunity for you to prepare with some of the sharpest minds in the country.
