Himanshu is a 1st year MBA Student at IIM Ranchi. He was awarded as DUBeat 21 under 21 for the year 2022, for his achievements. A Life Science graduate who is very inquisitive and have a keen eye. He has a research and analytical mindset. The whole world of Life Science, Management, and Business interests him. Life Science graduate who was a topper throughout. He was EY Scholar Season - 8 (2021-22). He represented India at the International Robotronics Competition held at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, and bagged 1st position. A National Level Skater. He also attended SAKURA Exchange Program in Science in Japan for which he received 100% Scholarship. He has also participated and won in various Management Events and Case Competitions. He intends to leave a positive mark on this world. Himanshu approaches problem-solving with a methodical and logical mindset, breaking down problems into smaller parts and conducting thorough research. He cites a complex problem he solved during a Live Project with NTPC, where he bridged the gap between NTPC and private players through a systematic approach, division of tasks, and extensive research. In handling failure or setbacks, Himanshu emphasizes the importance of not making decisions in the heat of the moment. He seeks support from friends and family, analyzes the reasons behind the failure, seeks feedback, and derives lessons for continuous improvement. He narrates a situation during a consulting assignment where a group had to submit a report amid exams. Himanshu stood firm against unethical practices such as using AI tools to fabricate research, ensuring that the client's requirement for authentic research was met while managing the challenge of ongoing exams. As the General Secretary of the Life Science Society, Himanshu negotiated with stakeholders for an offline event in a government college with financial constraints. He conducted thorough research, prepared a cost-benefit analysis, and approached negotiations with logic, data, and emotional control, resulting in securing funds and sponsorships. Himanshu believes he deserves to be one of India's Most Promising Incoming MBA Students in 2023 due to his diverse experiences, structured problem-solving approach, achievements, lifelong learning mentality, resilience, engagement in various activities, environmental consciousness, social consciousness, and a belief in continuous learning from everyone. His profile showcases a well-rounded individual with a commitment to ethical practices, resilience, and a holistic approach to personal and social responsibility.
