ABG stood with me forever!!..

              Aditya Birla Group(ABG) is an Indian multinational conglomerate, which has touched almost all the sectors in the industry. Let it be - the Cement industry, Carbon black, Textile business, Telecom services and even the financial services.                So basically, it has been with me in my life can say since birth. I am saying it since birth as I can vaguely remember my grandfather suggesting my dad to use Ultratech cement for the construction of our new home. This clearly shows that Aditya Birla group has been there gaining trust and building relationship in such a way that we recommend to our coming generations. Just give a glance and you will see yourself surrounded by ABG products.                 Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited(ABFRL) became India’s largest fashion company after consolidation of branded apparels like Pantaloons, Lifestyle, Forever21, Louis Philippe, Allen Solley, Peter England and the long list awaits. Hence, I can say that ABG have always been my companion and helped me look good for my dates and many other occasions. It has widely dominated fashion and retail department.                 I mentioned about cement and textile industry as of now. Did I forget to mention that ABG has almost been a major competitor of telecom industry. Idea cellular, which was a joint venture with AT&T and Tata Group was the first ever sim card used by me. Now Idea Cellular have completed its merger with Vodafone India and thereby became India’s largest telecom company surpassing its competitor – Airtel.                 ABG also entered the Financial services sector under the name of Aditya Birla Capital(ABC). So, I simply cannot deny that whether knowingly or unknowingly I have always been a part of Aditya Birla Group in an indirect by cherishing the facilities provided by them. For that I am greatly thankful to Aditya Birla Group for being part and parcel of my life so far by providing best of the products and delivering best experience to their customers.

 

 

You never know, if you don't reach it.......

                “The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you achieve it”, this quote made more sense to me when I first stepped at IIM SIRMAUR. A strong feeling of accomplishment rushed through me as I waited for 2 long years for this. I started my preparation for CAT in June 2017 and at that time the goal of getting into an IIM seemed so unreal to me. I gave my best in CAT 2017 but some how couldn’t get through the competition and was criticized by few and those losers started suggesting me to give up on CAT and search for other career options.                   This entire situation took a toll on me and I was in a serious dilemma as I was surrounded by series of questions of the society. For some period, it did shattered my confidence but then I was always backed my family and best friends stood beside me to encourage and build up my shattered confidence.                    I took a chance then and started preparing for CAT 2018. This time I changed my strategy for studying and understanding concepts. I adopted the strategy - “unlearn and re-learn”, which was my best decision or can say best strategy as I believe that we must always improvise if we are not able to achieve our goal using some strategy. Keeping aside the criticization and negative vibes I took a fresh start for my journey towards CAT 2018 which eventually landed me into “IIM SIRMAUR”.
