An entrepreneurial mindset is the most critical mindset required in today's economy, where employment generation is a crucial aspect to tackle the economic slowdown. Moreover, Entrepreneurship is the responsibility of every capable graduate in the current scenario.
DMS, IIT Delhi has given me a great platform to pursue my passion of being an entrepreneur. I have started on a basic idea of a platform to offer/take lifts online. DMS, IIT Delhi, has helped me in growing the mere thought into a start-up. Every professor of DMS, IIT Delhi, has vast knowledge in various fields. All the professors are wholly open and helpful in solving any problems that arise during the establishment or operation of a start-up. The expertise of professors acts as invisible support, which can be accessed limitlessly. Such knowledge and mentorship are the most valuable asset in the early stages, as well as the established stages of a start-up. Most of the professors are actively, and professionally collaborating with various established companies, as well as start-ups, to share their knowledge, help out the organizations, which could be accessed by students at DMS for free of cost. The culture and environment in DMS, IIT Delhi, is very similar to that of an incubator by itself. Various clubs and competitions at DMS, IIT Delhi, always drive me toward enhancing the particular skills required in operating my skills. The student pool at DMS, IIT Delhi, is very friendly and useful in finding the best team in executing an idea into a product and molding the product into a business. DMS, IIT Delhi, has access to the most excellent incubators in India, such as FITT, IIT Delhi. Access to these incubators opens up the path to get a lot of funding. The cells have also helped in taking my platform live on Google play store. The flagship event of DMS, Parivartan, provides numerous opportunities to market a product, find a fitting pool of investors or mentors. BII of DMS, IIT Delhi, provides a great platform to expose ourselves under a very bright name. A start-up started from scratch, can grow into a sustainable, and even a very profitable venture before leaving DMS.
